Yes! We are happy to say we operate with a Minor Use Permit through the county of San Luis Obispo. Your booking is secure with us!

We offer tours on weekdays and Sunday afternoons after guest check out, and have limited availability on some weekends. It is our highest priority to create a private experience for our clients, so we do not offer tours when clients are onsite. Due to the nature of our business, we accept tours by appointment only, and weekend time slots book up well in advance. Please contact us to schedule your tour. We would love to meet you!

For weddings and additional wedding weekend events, we include tables and chairs for up to 200 guests and include set up and break down! We have an inventory of additional tables and items you can rent in addition to what we provide.

Our Venue Manager Recommended Vendor List to help you assemble the perfect vendor team for your event! She will be a resource for you and help to facilitate communication between venue, planner and any other vendors you hire. While we do not require you to hire from our recommended list, it is strongly encouraged to ensure a smooth, incredible event experience.

We do require that every vendor hired is licensed, insured, and signs our Vendor Agreement. All caterers must be full-service. We require all events have a dedicated planner. A package of at least partial planning is required, full-service planning is preferred. A month-of coordinator is not sufficient for our requirements. We have amazing planners in the area and will happily make recommendations to help you find your perfect planner match!

We provide tables and chairs for up to 200 guests, with more to rent as needed. Any items provided by or rented from Villa Loriana, our staff will set up and break down for you. Any other items rented from outside of our venue inventory will not be set up or broken down by our team.

We are subject to San Luis Obispo’s county-wide Noise Ordinance, which requires the amplification of music to end at 10:00pm. This applies to our event spaces as well as our onsite accommodations.

Yes! We allow the serving of beer, wine and spirits. You buy all of your alcohol and hire a licensed and insured bartending company to serve it. The team will pack up any leftover alcohol for you to take with you upon check out.

While pets are not allowed in our onsite suites or to stay overnight, we do allow pets and other hired animals during the ceremony and in our outdoor spaces for photos. We encourage you to assign a pet handler to bring the animals onsite and take them off before the reception begins.

Yes! We strongly encourage shuttles to pick up guests at the end of the night for a safe, smooth guest experience. Guests are encouraged to leave their cars onsite overnight. We will hold our gates open the next morning until your checkout time at 11:00am for guests to retrieve their vehicles. Note: We do not allow for camper vans, RVs or other camping vehicles to be parked onsite and used for overnight accommodation.

Our pricing is inclusive of all service charges and taxes! While most other venues list their price and then charge a 20% service fee and sales tax, we value transparency! Our price is our price! 

We do collect a fully refundable $5,000 security deposit. Additionally, we require all clients to have a weekend liability insurance policy which generally costs around $300. We are happy to help guide you in how to get this policy purchased.
